Tools you'll need
Solid fuel
Hardwood kindling like our Ooni Premium Hardwood 5" Oak Logs and/or Ooni Premium Lumpwood Charcoal. We often use a combination of both.

Gas
To cook with gas use an Gas Burner for Ooni Karu 12 and Karu 2 and a tank of propane gas. Not sure which gas tank to use? Read our support article here.

Infrared Thermometer
Check that your baking stone is at least 750°F / 400°C before cooking.

Ooni Karu 2 cannot be used with solid fuels and gas simultaneously.
Dough making tools
- Large mixing bowl
- Wooden spoon
- Dough mixer (optional)
- Digital scale (strongly encouraged)
- Teaspoon (if no scale)
- Liquid measuring cup (if no scale)
- Dry measuring cup (if no scale)
- Cling film / Damp towel
- Dough tray / Baking tray
