Koda 2 Max 2nd Generation

The Koda 2 Max utilized our latest 2nd generation gas technology which operates through two independently controlled gas burner dials allowing you to have the flame on high one one side, low on the other, or any combination you'd like.

You can cook almost anything you’d cook in a normal oven or grill, but with a whole lot more fun and flavour. Dishes like steaks, flame-kissed veggies, dips, skillet sides... we could go on and on. Ooni's most advanced gas technology to date provides incredibly even heat and precision temperature control. Ooni Connect™ lets you link the Bluetooth-enabled Digital Temperature Hub with the Ooni app to see everything from ambient and food probe temperatures to alerts and notifications on your smartphone.

Ooni Koda 2 Max is built to last and you can leave it outdoors all year long. You can use the Koda 2 Max Cover to keep it safe from the elements. When being covered for long periods we advise to take the cover off and wipe any condensation that may form in high humidity environments.

We stand by our products. All Ooni products come with a 1-year warranty as standard, and we’ll extend that to a 5-year warranty on our Ooni Koda 2 Max outdoor oven when you register your pizza oven with Ooni. Your Ooni pizza oven must be registered within 60 days of receipt in order to claim the 5-year warranty.

Ooni Koda 2 Max is optimised for propane. It comes supplied with a gas hose and regulator, ideal for clip‑on style patio gas cannisters.

Koda 2 Max comes with an Ooni Connect™ Digital Temperature Hub, which also includes a food probe. This gives you accurate, at-a-glance readings from inside your Ooni oven, so you know exactly when it’s time to start cooking. And use the food probe to check temperatures while roasting meat, poultry or fish to ensure perfect results every time.

When it comes to the Ooni Koda 2 Pro vs Max, the big difference is the size. Ooni Koda 2 Max is our biggest oven yet, with a supersized 24″ cooking area – compared to 18” with the Koda 2 Pro. The Koda 2 Max offers added versatility thanks to two independently-controlled burners allowing for side-by-side, dual-zone cooking at a range of temperatures. This makes it possible to cook 20″ New York-style pies, multiple pizzas simultaneously, or pizza and meat side by side.

Koda 2 Max is one of our second-generation Koda gas-powered ovens. This means innovative G2 Gas Technology™ which achieves better heat distribution, reheats faster and reduces hot and cold spots for a more evenly baked pizza every time. 

With Ooni Koda 2 Max vs Koda 16, there’s a huge difference in size. Ooni Koda 2 Max is our biggest oven yet, with a supersized 24″ cooking area – compared to 16” with the Koda 16. It also offers added versatility thanks to two independently-controlled burners, allowing for side-by-side, dual-zone cooking at a range of temperatures. This makes it possible to cook 20″ New York-style pies, multiple pizzas simultaneously, or pizza and meat side by side.

The Koda 2 Max also lets you cook smarter thanks to the Ooni Connect™ Digital Temperature Hub. This uses Bluetooth to give you real-time ambient temperature and food probe readings direct to your phone.
