Leftovers Stuffing Pizza

Holiday leftovers sandwiches are truly iconic: we all remember Ross’ breakdown in Friends, right? Well now it’s time for the holiday leftovers pizza, smothered with crispy stuffing, soft mozzarella cheese and dollops of tangy-sweet cranberry sauce. Customise as you wish with any leftover meat and veg!

Ingredients
Makes 1x 12”/16” pizza

250/330g (8.8/11.6oz) classic pizza dough 
4-5 tbsp classic pizza sauce
100g (3.5oz) homemade stuffing
80g (2.8oz) mozzarella, torn into chunks
Handful fresh sage leaves
1-2 tsp cranberry sauce, plus extra for dipping

Method
Prepare your pizza dough ahead of time. Our guide to making the perfect Classic Pizza Dough covers everything you need to know. 

For the sauce for this pizza, we recommend preparing our easy Classic Pizza Sauce. With a hint of garlic, salt and basil, it's the ideal pizza sauce that will help to bring out the flavours in the other ingredients used here. 

For the stuffing, we recommend preparing our Homemade Stuffing recipe, it’s quick, easy, and you guessed it - delicious cooked in your Ooni pizza oven.

Fire up your Ooni pizza oven. Aim for 500˚C (952˚F) on the stone baking board inside. You can check the temperature inside your Ooni quickly and easily using the Ooni Infrared Thermometer.

Using a small amount of flour, dust your Ooni pizza peel. Stretch the pizza dough ball out to 12 or 14” and lay it out on your pizza peel. With a large spoon or ladle, spread an even layer of sauce across the base. Top with mozzarella, stuffing, a couple dollops of cranberry sauce, and sage leaves to finish.

Slide the pizza off the peel and into the Ooni pizza oven. Cook for 1-2 minutes, making sure to turn the pizza regularly. 

Once cooked, remove the pizza and season with salt and pepper to finish. Serve right away!
