Ooni Karu 2 Pro is built to last and you can leave it outdoors all year long. You can use the Karu 2 Pro Cover to keep it safe from the elements. We do recommend that you store Ooni Karu 2 Pro indoors for extended periods without use and to protect it from harsh weather conditions.

We stand by our products. All Ooni products come with a 1-year warranty as standard, and we’ll extend that to a 5-year warranty on our Ooni Karu 2 Pro outdoor oven when you register your pizza oven with Ooni. Your Ooni pizza oven must be registered within 60 days of receipt in order to claim the 5-year warranty.

The Karu 2 Pro has an enormous internal cooking area, and comes with Ooni Connect™ Digital Temperature Hub. It also offers more control over airflow and the enlarged glass door's ClearView™ technology reduces soot so you can always keep an eye on what you're cooking.

With great heat control and practice, Ooni Karu 2 Pro can cook various styles of pizzas from those that require low and slow over a longer bake or hot and fast at ultra-high temperatures. So whether you're Detroit, Chicago Deep Dish, New York or Neapolitan style fan - Ooni Karu 2 Pro has you covered.

Ooni Karu 2 Pro is super versatile and allows you to cook more than just pizza, whether that be flatbreads, naan, roasted meat or vegetables, or bread. Ooni Karu 2 Pro has incredible heat control, so you can experiment with different dishes and recipes. We have a range of Ooni Cookware products from cast iron to roasting pans, which will be the perfect addition to your oven.

Karu 2 Pro comes with an Ooni Connect™ Digital Temperature Hub, which also includes a food probe. This gives you accurate, at-a-glance readings from inside your Ooni oven, so you know exactly when it’s time to start cooking. And use the food probe to check temperatures while roasting meat, poultry or fish to ensure perfect results every time.

The Ooni Karu 2 range includes an insulated borosilicate glass door, so you can keep an eye on your pizza as it cooks, without the need to open the door and release heat. ClearView™ technology also reduces sooty buildup on the oven’s surface. These second generation ovens have an extra-large solid fuel tray at the rear too, plus a powder-coated, weather-resistant shell offering excellent heat retention. 

Building on over a decade of engineering experience, the Karu 2 Pro is more spacious than its  predecessor, the Karu 16. Its 17ʺ cooking surface and internal height of 5.7” gives you even more versatility whatever you fancy cooking.

With Karu 16 vs Karu 2 Pro, the second generation Karu 2 Pro lets you cook smarter thanks to the Ooni Connect™ Digital Temperature Hub. This uses Bluetooth to give you real-time ambient temperature and food probe readings direct to your phone. 

Both ovens offer the flexibility of multi-fuel – letting you choose from wood, charcoal or gas (with a gas burner sold separately). The Karu 2 Pro also has an extra-large fuel tray and a larger borosilicate glass door

When it comes to Karu 2 vs Karu 2 Pro, the big difference is the size. Karu 2 is compact and portable, while still letting you cook pizzas up to 12”. With a 17” cooking surface and internal height of 5.7”, Karu 2 Pro is more spacious – so you can comfortably cook anything from 16” pizzas to a whole roast chicken.
